Our KittyHawk multi-purpose Quadcopter utilizes advanced design features that surpass other Quadcopters, Hexacopters and even Octocopters in its class.

The KittyHawk uses an incorporated self-leveling monopod landing platform that ensures a clean takeoff and landing every time, no matter what the surface is like. This feature conserves battery use and means no more broken struts or stuck retractable gear.

One of the first areas we addressed was the flight time! By utilizing two 6S 20K batteries combined with four top of the line Tiger U7 motors, and hand balanced 17 x 5.8 carbon fiber propellers, the KittyHawk can deliver up to 30 minutes of flight time and 24 minutes of loaded mission time. Combine this with a 22lb max payload and you have the KittyHawk HDX4.

We surrounded our drive train with a progressive foam core body that is fully encapsulated in a molded 3K carbon fiber shell. The KittyHawk is finished in a customized gold metallic solar flare yellow paint that is blended with the natural Carbon Fiber providing stark contrast and high visibility at long distance. Throw in LiDar terrain sensing abilities along with several other innovative features and you have the KittyHawk HLX4 Supreme Quadcopter. If there is a job to be done or a mission to fly, don’t let the weather keep you grounded. The KittyHawk is designed to fly in all types of weather including rain, sleet and snow.

Camera and Gimbal options:

 The KittyHawk can accommodate not one, not two, but three GoPro Hero, 2, 3, and 4 or any of the popular HD and 4K sport video cameras on the market. The KittyHawk simultaneously captures images from below, front, above, left and right of the flying platform ensuring you catch every view. There is a two axis gimbal mounted on the belly of the KittyHawk and a second (optional) 3 axis gimbal mounted on the canopy. The video cameras can be auto stabilized or controlled by the main radio transmitter or an *optional secondary radio transmitter.
 The KittyHawk comes standard with a fixed RunCam PZ0420 FPV camera mounted on the front that can be swapped with a third GoPro Hero, 2, 3, and 4 or any popular HD sport video camera.
 The KittyHawk comes standard with a three way video chip with switch on the fly.
 Onboard 8CH 5.8G 500mW Wireless Audio Video AV TX Transmitter with cooling fan
 Optional 3 axis DSLR belly gimbal
 Thermal or FLIR video cameras can be mounted on any of the camera locations.

Body enhancements:

 Full 3K Carbon fiber build; body, frames, arms, canopy, battery box, storage bay and propellers
 Sectional body design. The KittyHawk breaks down into four main components for easy transport and storage.
 The rotors of the KittyHawk are bounded by 3K Carbon fiber rings to protect the rotors and prevent collateral exterior damage. There are three triangle hand grips molded into the KittyHawk body for easy transport, stabilization and safe recovery.
 Another feature that is incorporated into the rear hand grip of the body is a blue LED voltage meter that constantly relays live voltage of the large LiPo batteries.
 Monopod landing platform
 Rear cargo rack for smart phones or other sensor loads
 An optional 9” x 7.5” x 3.5” storage bay can be added to the belly of the KittyHawk below the twin battery box.

Innovative battery box:

 The battery box has a foam core that is lined with Aluminum then encased in 3K Carbon fiber and coated with an epoxy resin.
 The battery box gimbal mount is recessed into the front of the battery box and flanked by Carbon fiber, this bunker assembly provides extreme protection for any device.
 Positioned below the battery box is a Carbon fiber transport container measuring L: 9” x W: 7.5” x H: 3.5” With the payload capacity of the KittyHawk there is no end to the First Responder or Scientific artifacts or even a warm meal that can be stowed.
 Another addition is a servo operated LED spot light that can be controlled by the transmitter. The lens of the spotlight can be replaced with a red lens to increase the range of infra-red cameras.

Removable Canopy:

 The carbon fiber canopy has a split Poly Carbonate window for monitoring the internal components.
 The canopy protects the Pixhawk flight controller and other vital components and can be easily removed for quick access to the main internal components.
 The canopy is pre-drilled and wired for an optional 3 axis gimbal that can accommodate your favorite GoPro or other sport camera.
 Under the canopy rests a roll cage for additional protection.
 The KittyHawk canopy sports an external master arming switch, multi-color LED system status light and external flight controller USB link

  1. This system looks great!

    However, 915MHz is illegal in most of Europe because that’s within the mobile phone band.

    The antennas also triangulate interference so there’s a good chance of being caught.

    Are there plans for a 413MHz telemetry Euro-legal system?
